Over the years the University of produced some excellent sportsmen and women who have competed throughout the United Kingdom at the highest University level. Last year was no exception to this with Dundee students getting to the BUCS finals in sports such as Volleyball, Women’s Rugby and Fencing. However if you would rather join a club for the social aspect that is fine, and is, without a doubt, a great way to meet new people and make friends for life.

Fresher’s week is always a busy time. Dundee University strives to provide fresher’s with plenty of new experiences. Our Sports Fayre gives you the opportunity to see our 44 different clubs. Make the most of this opportunity to come and see which club you are best suited to. From Fencing to Rugby, from lacrosse to subaqua, we have something for everyone. Whether you are interested in becoming the best sportsman or women you can be or joining a club for the friends you are going to make, the experiences the Sports Union offers compares to nothing.

The Sports Union is an organisation dedicated to students and run by students. It is here to provide a service to you so please do pop in and see us with any problems or questions you may encounter at any point in your University career.

Finally I wish you the best of luck both with your academic studies and with your sporting endeavors.
